Aurora R10, all ship with the VRM heatsink?, #2
I am in the same boat. Aurora R10 air cooled just arrived. I have a H60 and ML120 ready for cooling upgrade and front fan swap but can't find the VRM heatsinks anywhere. I just talked to tech support (Dell Canada) with no luck obtaining them. Anyone know of the correct ones on Amazon? Or if I can order from Dell US and ship to Canada?

Dell Chris said that the Ryzen vrm heatsink was N/A. you can still chat with Dell live agent online to see if they have it in stock and get a quote on shipping. Dell price does not include shipping. I doubt the Dell price would end up significantly better than eBay.

they only ship when -k cpu is ordered. even then you may not get both VRM heatsinks.

That seems like the same ones I found on amazon.ca (ebay canada had no listingd). Seems like the price is similar to the ones I found factoring in exchange and shipping time etc.. Is it actually possible to order from dell US and get them shipped to canada bc that price is much better. Looking up part# on dell.ca I can't find these at all.

Would everyone agree that even w the lower 65w Ryzen 7 5800 (not x), a corsair H60 AIO LC and corsair front fan swap is definitely needed for better cooling and sound?

Dell SPMD (Spare Parts Master Database) shows only one VRM heatsink for R10: 4D5V9
there are actually two VRM heatsinks for R10: 4D5V9, J46J2
In the Dell data base the longer VRM J46J2 was listed under R5, therefore it does not come up when Dell Chris M searched using Ryzen as keyword.

Thanks for the confirmation. I think for the price point its still a good deal for less headaches. No issues running only the 550w PSU with these add-ons? I know when I was building pc online the only AIO LC option made you choose the 1000w PSU.

Cooling for CPU yes, since the air cooler is not that great.
For sound also, unless you like loud fan noise.
Unfortunate they do not ship all systems with the VRM heat sinks, because I am sure that's not really going to add much to the total bill. But it would save a bunch of headaches afterwards for sure.

Things like a pump or a fan are not going to make a big difference. Biggest power draws come from CPU and GPU.

Beauty thanks to you both for the help. I will get this mod complete as soon as my AW monitor gets delivered (delay in production/shipping atm) so I can see pre/post stats and I can finally use this rig.
